Working To Provide Greater Mobility To The Disabled

Falci Adaptive Biosystems is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping those with neuromotor disabilities increase their ability to control and interact with their environment.

Our organization works closely with engineering experts and leading medical centers to develop novel technologies and rapidly transition these into rehabilitation and adaptive systems. Through our Falci Adaptive Motorsports program, auto racing is used as a promotional and inspirational platform for those who are wheelchair bound.

The Race to Greater Mobility

2.2 million people in the United States depend on a wheelchair and/or caregivers for day-to-day tasks and mobility. Individuals in wheelchairs are heavily dependent on arm, hand and upper body strength and dexterity in order to accomplish routine daily tasks such as wheeling, feeding, grooming, dressing, and communication. There is an unmet need for better human-machine interface controls for those with limited upper body function. There is a way to assist these individuals and the technology exists to make it a reality.

Our mission is to leverage these new technologies to allow the disabled to more effectively control automobiles, wheelchairs, homes, and work environments.
